Star Goes Nova
Star Goes Nova Live

After a truly epic journey through the loss of both parents, a fire and the pandemic, I have somehow created the most beautiful thing. I found in the deep darkness that saving myself meant shining fiercely bright. A shimmering jewel to honor my parents; or a healing sonic dream for those in need; or a powerful starburst of imagination for every one of us – Star Goes Nova is all those things.

And we somehow made it sound awesome on digital streaming platforms. I mean, it really, really sounds good - more than I had hoped for. Get your glass of wine and sit somewhere beautiful, and listen. Immerse yourself into an epic, powerful, emotional starship journey.

I’ve always thought of myself as an intrinsic soul, finding meaning in space and time and thought.  I create epic stories that combine real instruments with electronica, transcending past and future, told through my 115 year old piano, power drums and deep bass music.  These sonic manifestations are empathic spaces to stargaze, gather personal power or share thoughts from other worlds.

More widely known as bassist Christine Law in Southern California, I’ve toured and recorded with the famous and the obscure. My career started touring and recording with Martha Davis during her hiatus from the Motels. Soon thereafter, I became known as a bassist in Los Angeles clubs with Jan Kuehnemunde (Vixen) "Drawing Down The Moon" project. My first radio airplay was with hardcore band Tantrum, later charting on college radio with Charles Law & Jagged. I collaborate with Grammy winner John Baffa and platinum selling songwriters Suzanne Paris and David Holster.  You’ll hear fantastic collaborations with different artists on Star Goes Nova pieces.

My influences are Mitis, Blackmill, Glitch Mob, Illenium, Pink Floyd, Yes,  Porter Robinson and pianist Yiruma. Power and beauty are my inspirations. I follow anything Space and often the Falcon 9 rocket or Hubble galaxy sonifications are in my music. My inspirations are Porter Robinson,  Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Zedd,  Mitis, Sevenn Lions, Yes, Pink Floyd and Illenium.

I have majestic baroque                                    the black feathered Viking horse ridden by knights - there is also a bit of their ancient nobility in the dubstep bass of my songs!
